'How To Get Away With Murder' is a better series than 'Suits'

Allow me refresh your minds to these two brilliant stories. 

'Suits' 2011 

‘Suits’ - Mike Ross, a talented young college dropout, is hired as an associate by Harvey Specter, one of New York's best lawyers. They must handle cases while keeping Mike's qualifications a secret. 

‘How To Get Away With Murder’ on the other hand - Annalise Keating, a criminal defence lawyer and professor, teaches a group of aspiring law students. However, their lives alter when they get entangled in an aberrant murder.

I know a lot of you would disagree with me especially if you so dearly love Harvey or Mike, however, I will present basis factor that will change your minds. Don’t get wrong me I completely enjoyed both series but one thing is for sure, ‘If your life is at stake and in need of legal counsel, who would pick?’.

 

Harvey Specter is more of a business counsellor and handled mostly business cases. So if you have a multibillion dollar deal, Harvey is your guy. Annalize Keating will fight to save your life and utilise every option.

‘Suits’ story is mostly surrounded around the life of Mike Ross and Harvey Specter, the master and his protege. How Mike came into this cold, heart of Harvey literarily changing his life, their relationship together to a path of healing, becoming a better man. Making Harvey visit his past is a casual element to his character. He went from being a cold, unlovable guy to desiring or being in love.

 

How To Get Away With Murder portrayed loads of realistic events. From the style of story telling. It engages audience through the entire season. So many surprising twist that is just hard to believe.

 

In as much as they had conflict the entire season (who gets to managing partner, saving the company, and who doesn’t to jail), that was pretty much all to it. In the first season, the major focus was keeping Mike’s secret and solving new cases each episode, businesses were at stack more than life were. Which makes it a little boring for me. Cases you would thought would be difficult would be gone in a blink of an eye, which proves how good a lawyer Harvey is and brilliant a mind Mike is. But come on! How?

Annalize had the entire season to prove she didn’t commit murder and ensuring the murderers got away with murder as the name implies. It was more realistic. A black, alcoholic, rape survivor who thought she had nothing to live for to the brick of giving up her life. Anyone would relate to this story. I loved her mom, Ophelia Harkness, she cracked me up the entire time. It’s difficult to spend time with lawyers and not become lawyers yourself. ‘Oliver’ admits it. My only issue would be how issues spring from up no where, like how? Like when Frank finds out Sam and Hannah are his incest parents. The series is built on that moment. It frees Annalize of Sam’s murder. What a twist!

Physics Playout In Tenet

The movie 'Tenet' is anchored in the laws of physics and time, to know physics is to understand Tenet. However, having seen this movie, science feels like magic in the eyes of viewers.

Almost similar to Christopher Nolan's previous film directory in 'Interstellar', 'Inception' (dream), 'Momento'(memory lose), Tenet deals with actual science with a bit fiction.

The movie is a major twist between physics reversing entropy and time travel between the past and future. John David Washington, Denzel Washington's son stars as the protagonist hired by a mysterious organisation called Tenet, who learns of war threatening both the past and future.

A technology invented in the future allows object and people to invert, reversing the flow of entropy, making them travel backwards in time. 

Tenet created in the future sent their team to the past where the technology was hidden and later recovered by the antagonist whose goal is activate the weapon that will wipe out both the past and future.

Nolan recruited the services of theoretical physics, Kip Thorne. The idea based in Tenet is that "if you could invert the flow of entropy for an object, you could reverse the flow of time for the object." When you pick up a gun, the inverted gun (object) feels as though you dropped it. Every inverted object or person flow backwards in time.

The movie has raised so many uproar among viewers and cast members. The cast members have expressed confusion the movie. They claimed they would have to rewatch the movie to better understand it.

The movie also stars Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Andrew Howard Jefferson Hall, Juhan Ulfsak amongst others.

Denzel Washington must be proud.

'Black Panther', Chadwick Boseman Dies At 43

The actor, Chadwick Boseman, famously known for Marvel's movie character, "Black Panther" has just passed at 43. Chadwick was diagnosed and battled with stage III Colon cancer in 2016.

"It was the honour of his career to bring King T'Challa to life in Black Panther."

Chadwick presevered his ailment through his many movie features; God's of Egypt (2016), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Message From The King (2016) Marshall (2017), Black Panther (2018), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), 21 Bridges (2019), Da 5 Bloods (2020), Ma Rainey's Black Bottom (2020, Production not released yet).

Chadwick featured in other movies; The Express: The Ernie Davis Story (2008), The Kill Hole (2012), 42 (2013), Draft Day (2014), and Get On Up (2014).

He died in his home, with his wife, Taylor Simone Ledward and family by his side. 

He will be remembered for his great works by many.

Trolls 2: World Tour

   Poppy and Branch discover they are six other different kinds of Trolls scattered over six different lands; each to a different form of music; Pop, Funk classical, Techno, Country ad Rock. Their world is about to get a lot bigger and lot more louder, as a member of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb, aided by her father King Thrash, wants to destroy all other kinds of music to let Rock reign supreme. 

   With the fate of the world at stake, Poppy and Branch along with their friends set out to visit all the other lands to unify the Trolls in harmony against Barb, who's looking to upstage them all and turn them into Rock zombies.

   Meanwhile, Branch tries to find a way to tell Poppy how he feels about her.

   The movie stars Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, James Corden, Kunal Nayyar, Ozzy Osbourne, Rachel Bloom, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson, Anderson Paak, Watt Dohrn, to name but a few casts.

   The movie first released in Malaysia and Singapore in March 2020. Due to Coronavirus concerns as well as the effect of the pandemic in the film industry, the movie was set to release in UK and US theatrical on April 10th. Also, Universal announced that the film would be available for rental on digital platforms on the same simultaneously.

TULIP FEVER

Tulip Fever is a historical drama set in the Netherlands in the 17th century, during the period of the tulip mania. Tulip Fever centers on Sophia (Alicia Vikander) who is married to a wealthy man, Cornelis Sandvoort (Christoph Waltz). Sophia gets into an affair with an artist,Jan Van Loos (Dane DeHaan) invited by her husband for a painting. Both lovers escape to fight for their relationship. The two had to invest in the risky tulip market in hopes to build a future together.

The movie directed by Justin Chadwick, produced by Alison Owen and written by Tom Stoppard. It also stars Cara Delevingne, Zach Galifianakis, Judi Dench, Douglas Hodge, Holliday Grainger, Jack O'Connell, Joanna Scanlan, Kevin McKidd, Matthew Morrison and Tom Hollander. Tulip Fever finally releases on September 1 after several postponment on it release.
Tulip Fever is known for the sexually involved, passion and betrayal.

Professor Marston and The Wonder Woman

In the world of movies, it is no doubt that Worldwide leading movie industry Hollywood continues to supply the world audience with a massive array of movies from various genres year in year out. While some of these movies generate large worldwide commendation which automatically means good business for the companies involved and smiling directors including cast and crew members, some of them struggle with even being known by people asides the makers. Anyways the fear of failure doesn't stop movie makers and companies from still releasing more and more films hoping they hit the jackpot with some of the movies like highest grossing movies Avatar and Titanic both by James Cameron have done. The movie business is definitely a gamble for those companies who sink tons of money in it.

The Upcoming 2017 movie, Professor Marston and the wonder women is a biographical drama centered around the life of an Harvard psychologist, Professor Williams Moulton Marston(Luke Evans), and his creation of the female Superhero character Wonder Woman and his wife Elizabeth (Rebecca Hall) and the student, Oliver Byrne (Bella Heathcote). It tells of the polyamorous relationship with the two women who are the inspiration for the comic, his wife Elizabeth Marston and their controversial lover Oliver Byrne who also delves into S&M and bondage, which were prevalent in the their private lives as well as in the original, scandalous for the time, comics. 

Marketing for the movie has been quite on the low considering it's significance to previous stories surrounding the Wonder Woman but with the recent success of the wonder woman movie directed by Patty Jenkins, cast and crew of the movie showing her maker and real origin story are hopeful that the movie would also grab world attention and be a box office success. Though the movie trailer and supposed storyline is already gathering mixed reviews from critics, let's expect the best for them.

The American biographical drama film is directed and written by Angela Robinson (Her film follows the release of the popular Patty Jenkins-directed superhero movie Wonder Woman in June, which has grossed over $765 million to date worldwide). The film stars Luke Evans (Beauty and the Beast, The Girl on the Train), Rebecca Hall (Christine, The Town, Vicky Cristina Barcelona), Bella Heathcote (The Man in the High Castle, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies), Connie Britton (American Horror Story, Friday Night Lights, Nashville) and Oliver Platt. The film is scheduled to be screened at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival on October 27, 2017.

TOP 10 BOX OFFICE

 The top 10 has proven so far to be successful in the US box office.

10.    BEFORE I FALL
Released March 3 along side with Logan, The Shack and Table 19. The movie was initially rated #6 as at last weekend but now a number 10. The movie started with a budget of $5 Millon but now with box office of $12.5 million with an opening of $4.6 million . Seems they are running out of target.

9.     JOHN WICK: CHAPTER TWO
Initially a no 8 but now no 9 rated. With $20 million budget , it got a total lifetime gross of $90 million mainly of a foreign gross of $68 million. The movie opened with a total of over $30 million #3 rank.

8.     HIDDEN FIGURES
This movie showed so much promises of awesomeness based on its emphasis more on black and women. As at last week it was top 7 with a worldwide total gross $220 million. He movie was nominated for academic awards without wins. It's got the best leading supporting female actors with the likes of Taraji Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae.

7.     THE BELKO EXPERIMENT
This sci-fi, horror movie has shaken people off their seats since it release since made 17. Nine days since it's release, it has attracted people's attention. So far it has made a total gross of $7, 853, 675 so far.
A voice got employees of BELKO trapped, giving them the option of killing themselves as Ransome for their survival. Mike got out alive out of over 100 employee only to find out that was just the first stage if the so called test.

6.     THE LEGO BATMAN
There are big changes brewing in Gotham, but if Batman wants to save the city from the joker's hostile takeover, he may have to drop few things off and try to get along with everyone. Maybe his sidekick Robin and loyal Butler Alfred can show him a thing or two. The Lego Batman movie has gotten over 200 million dollars worldwide gross and still counting.

5.     THE SHACK
I actually love this movie. The recovery, rediscovering and rebranding Faith movie unexpectedly makes it to the top 5. So far it has 50 million dollars worldwide. This movie is still maintaining top 5 since last weekend.

4.     GET OUT
Thirty-two days after release, this movie is still hitting it. Watch the racist horror movie that will blow your mind. It has gained $155, 250, 885 and still counting.

3.     LOGAN
Logan is on the verge of saving a young girl from getting into Donald Pierce and the Reavers' wrong hands. He then realizes she's his daughter. She, Laura, gots lower like Logan and I wouldn't be surprised if you also admitted to Charles Xavier's comment about she looking like Logan. Logan made its worldwide gross of $571 million.

A team of British special force, expected or explorers, adventurers travels to an uncharted Island. Unknown to them, it the domain of monsters including the assumed fairytale Ape, Kong. Kong made $400 million worldwide gross and still counting.

We all are familiar with the fairy tale animated film, Beauty and the beast, Disney's remake in 1991 to Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont's.

A woman was involved in an accident that lost her memory. Her psychiatrist suggested she went home where she grew up. Arriving home she started saying unexplainable things and photographs that seemed she was responsible for her family member's death she never knew she had. Would the house and memories help regain her memories ? Would she be able to control that she sees or would it be the other way round? Would her loved ones lose her ?

 Lavender was directed by Ed Grass-Donnelly, produced by Ed Grass-Donnelly and David Valleau and written by Collin Frizzell and Ed Grass-Donnelly. It was initially released February 3, 2017 before being released March 3, 2017. The movie drama, horror and suspense filled stars Abbie Cornish, Dermot Mulroney, Justin Long, Diego Klattenhoff, Pefton Kennedy and Lola Flanery.

Have you ever been to a wedding to be surrounded by crazy looking weirdos, trust me it's not fun. Unfortunately for Eloise McGarry, it became fun when they realized they all had things in common and started Sharing personal issues and Talking like they had known each other for years. Then the table turned around unexpectedly. The hosts weren't expecting anything good from Table 19.

 Jay Duplass and Mark Duplass were initially to direct the movie but it turned to be directed by Jeffrey Blitz. It took a month to film this movie between late March and late April 2015.

Before I Fall

Imagine waking up to the same scene, same occurrence of the previous day and it doesn't stop at that it keeps reoccurring and reoccurring like there is something you're just missing out - Déjà vu. Somed say this Things happens just so you could correct mistakes and save people you wouldn't mean to loose. So what happens if you save them and can't save yourself ?
 This story centers on Samantha Kingston (Deutch), a high school senior who finds that she may be living the last day of her life over and over until she gets it right. If you had only one day left on earth, who would you kiss ? Who would you tell the real truth to ? Who would you rather be with ? Where would you rather be ? She must untangle the mystery surrounding her death and discover the true vaue of everything she is in danger of losing.

 Before I Fall stars Zoey Deutch (portraying Rose Hathaway in vampire academy (2014), why him ?{2016}), Halston Sage (Grace on Nickelodeon TV series How to Rock), Logan Miller (Disney XD I'm in h band and a younger version of Matthew McConaughey's Ghosts of girlfriend's past), loan Lawley (YouTuber superkian13), Jennifer Beals, Diego Boneta (Alex Santiago in the ABC family series of pretty little liars), and Elena Kampouris (my big fat Greek wedding 2 {2016}).

Logan

 Logan is on the verge of saving an 11 year old girl from getting into Donald Pierce and the Reavers' wrong hands. He then realizes she's his daughter. She, Laura, gots Logan superpowers and I wouldn't be surprised if you also admitted to Charles Xavier's comment about she looking like Logan. In as much as this is true, considering the pains, losses, discrimination he has had enough of an experience not forgetting his arrogance and indifference from Wolverine and The Wolverine, Logan doesn't like the idea of Laura being his daughter or looking anything like him. But what can he do, blood they say is thicker than water, maybe he isn't indifference after all.

 The movie happens to be the third and final chapter of the Logan part of the story, X-Men film series: Wolverine (2009) and The Wolverine (2013). He probably needs a fresh role since he has been playing the Logan role for 17 years. Since this is the final we might be seeing of Logan, who knows if Laura, his daughter will actually take up where be left ? After all, they both have things in common.

 The movie was directed by James Mangol and produced by Hutch Parker, Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner. Logan stars Hugh Jackman (Logan X-Men, Wolverine), Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier professor  X-Men series), Richard E. Grant (from withnail and I, Dracula), Boyd Holbrook ( Agent Steve Murphy in the Netflix series Narcos), Stephen Merchant (director of HBO series Hello Ladies) and Dafne keen (Ani from the TV series The Refugees).

 The movie releases today March 3 in theatres, so guys you really should watch out for this one.

John Wick 2

 Bowery King 'John Wick ! You are not very good at retiring'. John Wick, 'I'm working on it'.

 Well, in case you don't know John Wick, allow me to introduce you. John Wick (2014) an ex-hitman who lost everything including a dog which was a gift from his dying wife. He is back to get everything for what they took from him.

 This February, he is brought out of retirement again on the bounty of his life to get a job done. Whoever gets in his way 'I'll kill them all'. He is everly fast, intolerable and doesn't think twice when he's got a gun at it trigger. He is devil who doesn't seek vengence but justice.

 The movie is a trilogy and this happens to be the second release. It was directed by Chad Stahelski, produced by Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee and written by Derek Kolstad. The characters were based on Derek's pick. The movie stars Keanu Reeves, Common, Laurence Fishburne, Riccardo Scamarcio and Ruby Rose, John Leguizamo and ian McShane.

Fifty shades darker

 Who remembers the crazy romance movie, Fifty shades of Grey? Well, some of us must have wondered whatever happened to the end of that movie. I practical hated the end. I'm guessing this is the answer to our questions.

 This Valentine, let's slip into something a shade darker. As Anastasia "Ana" trys to move on without Christian Grey.  The wounded and confused Christian convinces her to resume their romance relationship under Ana's conditions. As the couple begins their normal relationship, christian wrestles with his inner demons. Ana must confront the anger and envy of the women who came before her, and make the most important decisions of her life. All about the SEX.

 Guess what the movie features Rita Ora, music artiste possibly role model. She acts as Mia Grey, Christian's adoptive sister.

The releases today, Feb 14, Valentine special. Who knows what this movie holds for us this time around... Especially for us lovers.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

 Let's do a quick recap: Resident Evil was first produced in 2002, Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004), Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010), Resident Evil: Extinction (2007), Resident Evil: Retribution (2012), and now Resident Evil: The final Chapter (2016). When a special military unit fights a powerful, put of control super computer and hundreds of scientists who have mutated into flesh eating creatures after a laboratory accident.
 Alice wakes in Raccoon city, only to find it has becomes infected with zombies and monster but with the help of Jill valentine and Carlos Oliveira she finds her way out.
While still out yo destroy the evil umbrella corporation, Alice joins a group of survivors living in a prison surrounded by the infected who also want to relocate to the mysterious but supposedly unharmed safe haven.
 Alice fights alongside a resistance movement to regain her freedom from the umbrella testing facility. She is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity's final stand against the undead. Now, she must return to where the nightmare began. The hive in Raccoon city, where the umbrella corporation is gathering its forces for a final strikes against the only remaining survivors of the Apocalypse.
 This is where it gets more interesting, the end is just the beginning of the Resident Evil.
 The final chapter was initially released in Japan on 23 Dec, 2016 and officially released on 27 Jan, 2017. Its is still out on cinemas.

 Here are what might interest you about he movie. The movie has won 12 awards since 2002 till 2010. It raised $102.4 million box office in 2002,$129.3 million in 2004, $147.7 million in 2007, $296.2 million in 2010, $35.1 million in 2016, 2017 box office is undecided yet since it just released and  you seeing the movie might just increase the numbers or not.

Hidden Figures

Yeah !!! Who's up for more of cookie, Taraji P. Henson, from the movie series Empire. Well, here's a new one. Taraji stars as Katherine, a mathematician is to work with a space task group. Who inspite of being looked down on as a woman and the fact that she's an African American is disregarded and not given the co-priviledges by her colleagues holds her head high. Knowing cookie makes it much more interesting.
 A team of African American women including Katherine provides NASA with important mathematical data needed to launch the program's first successful space missions.
 The movie is based on an untold story by Margot Lee Shetterly. It was directed by Theodore Melfi-who also produced Bed and Breakfast: Love is a happy accident-and produced by Donnna Giglitti, Peter Chenin, Jenno Topping, Pharrel Williams, the music artiste.
 The movie stars Taraji Henson-cookie, Octavia Spencer from The Divergent series: Insurgent and Zootopia, Janelle Monae, singer and actress from Moonlight (Jeresa), Kevin Costner from The untouchable, Kirsten Dunst from the spiderman as Mary Jane Watson (2002-2007) and Jim Parsons, Oh from Home (2015) and The big bang theory.

Ghost In The Shell trailer

Outside of the usual trailers, the team behind manga adaptation Ghost In The Shell have been releasing "glitches", little fragments of footage that help tell the story (or just make you wonder what the heck is going on). The latest of this blipverts is now online.

In this case, the video points to howScarlett Johansson's character is being treated by her paymasters. Based on the title originated by Masamune Shirow, the focus is on Johansson's The Major, a special ops cyborg, head of an elite task force known as Section 9. The team, working for Hanka Robotics, is in charge of stopping dangerous criminals and extremists, and their prime target is The Laughing Man, a terrorist dedicated to wiping out all of Hanka’s cyber technology.

Pilou Asbæk is Batou, the second best fighter in the section and her trusted lieutenant, with Juliette Binoche, Takeshi Kitano, Michael Pitt and Kaori Momoi also appearing. Rupert Sanders directed this one, and Ghost In The Shell is out on 31 March.
