'How To Get Away With Murder' is a better series than 'Suits'

Allow me refresh your minds to these two brilliant stories.

'Suit' 2011
'Suits' 2011

‘Suits’ - Mike Ross, a talented young college dropout, is hired as an associate by Harvey Specter, one of New York's best lawyers. They must handle cases while keeping Mike's qualifications a secret.

‘How To Get Away With Murder’ on the other hand - Annalise Keating, a criminal defence lawyer and professor, teaches a group of aspiring law students. However, their lives alter when they get entangled in an aberrant murder.

I know a lot of you would disagree with me especially if you so dearly love Harvey or Mike, however, I will present basis factor that will change your minds. Don’t get wrong me I completely enjoyed both series but one thing is for sure, ‘If your life is at stake and in need of legal counsel, who would pick?’.

Harvey Specter is more of a business counsellor and handled mostly business cases. So if you have a multibillion dollar deal, Harvey is your guy. Annalize Keating will fight to save your life and utilise every option.

‘Suits’ story is mostly surrounded around the life of Mike Ross and Harvey Specter, the master and his protege. How Mike came into this cold, heart of Harvey literarily changing his life, their relationship together to a path of healing, becoming a better man. Making Harvey visit his past is a casual element to his character. He went from being a cold, unlovable guy to desiring or being in love.

How To Get Away With Murder portrayed loads of realistic events. From the style of story telling. It engages audience through the entire season. So many surprising twist that is just hard to believe.

In as much as they had conflict the entire season (who gets to managing partner, saving the company, and who doesn’t to jail), that was pretty much all to it. In the first season, the major focus was keeping Mike’s secret and solving new cases each episode, businesses were at stack more than life were. Which makes it a little boring for me. Cases you would thought would be difficult would be gone in a blink of an eye, which proves how good a lawyer Harvey is and brilliant a mind Mike is. But come on! How?

Annalize had the entire season to prove she didn’t commit murder and ensuring the murderers got away with murder as the name implies. It was more realistic. A black, alcoholic, rape survivor who thought she had nothing to live for to the brick of giving up her life. Anyone would relate to this story. I loved her mom, Ophelia Harkness, she cracked me up the entire time. It’s difficult to spend time with lawyers and not become lawyers yourself. ‘Oliver’ admits it. My only issue would be how issues spring from up no where, like how? Like when Frank finds out Sam and Hannah are his incest parents. The series is built on that moment. It frees Annalize of Sam’s murder. What a twist!

Citation, Academic Prey

A Uniben lecturer once consoled 300Level undergraduate of 2.2 upon graduating. He claimed, Graduates with 2.2 or Third Class were more likely to excel career-wise than graduates with 2.1 or First Class. Because graduate with upper credits read to excel compared to graduates with lower credits who are more talents. He also revealed that good grades in am undergraduate first-year determines the rest of the years in school. If you have an average grade in year one, you automatically have average grades till you graduate whether or not you too your grade. There's no room for improvement. Achievements are not dependent on academic knowledge or brilliancy. If you don't have any relationship with your lecturer, there's no way you would be graded accurately while scoring.
Nine out of the ten girls and at least two out of 10 boys have been abused, physically or sexually assaulted.

The institution of learning has reported sexual harassment cases, 'Sex For Grades' by students. One such case was Monica Osagie, a post-graduate student who exposed Professor Richard Akindele demanding 5 rounds of sex before he could grade her in 2018.

Professor Akindele was found guilty, sacked, jailed and released after serving a two-year jail term.

Monica was denied her certificate and was asked to retake her examination on the basis that there was no record of her class attendance. This she claimed was false and was used against her.
Often, reports are demised for lack of evidence of any harassment by lecturers leaving such students vulnerable, unprotected, threatened and faced with stigma even from their colleagues. Most cases left to forfeit their certificate.

"I am just a girl trying to go to school..."
In the movie Citation, a bright young student, Moremi innocent friendship with her lecturer threatens her academic and life.

The movie directed by Kunle Afolayan focuses and portrays many sceneries Nigerian students, especially girls are victimized by their lecturers. Screen-written by Tunde Babatunde, British TV series screenwriter who is also an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University where the movie was majorly filmed.

Temi Otedola's consciousness in her debut role had a lot to say outside the movie. Although, it was important and necessary for the given activity to be "almost faceless" in the film because it represented victims of sexual harassment/assault. Temi Otedola is an ambassador of WARIF, a rape crisis organisation said, "when preparing for my role in 'Citation', I did a deep dive of research into the way survivors of sexual abuse are treated in Nigeria and how very often they feel like there is no one there to help them."

It is also worthy to note, Kunle Afolayan attempted "Stan Lee" quick appearance in the film. Ibukun Awosika playing herself was just an icing to the cake, she was effortlessly remarkable.

The movie also stars incredible act; Jimmy Jean-Louis, Gabriel Afolayan, Ini Edo, Joke Silva, Adjetey Anang, Sadiq Dada etc.

The Predator: Jacob Tremblay Is The Latest Recruit

Chalk up Shane Black and The Predator as the latest victim of Drip Feed Castingitis, as actors in the movie's ensemble have been announced in dribs and drabs. The newest member of the on-screen group is all-round charm factory Jacob Tremblay, who will have a key role.
Black's script, co-written with Fred Dekker, finds Boyd Holbrook as a former Marine who discovers the existence of the terrifying, hunting-obsessed aliens. Trouble is, no one believes him, and the government, in the shape of Sterling K. Brown's agent, tries to shut him up. He'll have help from the likes of ex-military comrade Trevante Rhodes, scientist Olivia Munn and Keegan-Michael Key, who has an unspecified role in the movie.
As for Tremblay, he's playing Holbrook's son, an autistic lad who has been bullied in school, but has an incredible ability to learn languages, which will come in handy given the new threat. Black is preparing to shoot the movie next month in Vancouver.
Since impressing audiences and critics inRoom, Tremblay has won several roles, including in Colin Trevorrow's upcomingThe Book Of Henry and novel adaptationWonder, which is out on 7 April.
